(61) November 1.st 1731 Received the within Consideration Money Being Twenty pounds Witness my hand George Hurt Nov 1731 Then Came Cap.t George Hurt [illegible] the Within Deed & acknowledged the within Mencond Lott to be the Right of Mich.ll Macnemara and the within Deed to be his Act Before me 2 1/2 sides Benj.a Tasker (Recorded this 27.th day of Aprill 1732) x.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made the fifteenth Day of November Seventeen Hundred and Thirty One Between Nicholas Grimes Late of Baltemore County in the Province af.d Planter But now of Prince William County in the Colony of Virginia Planter of the one part and Thomas Worthington of Anarundell County in the Province aforesaid Merchant of the other part Witnesseth that the said Nicholas Grimes for and in Consideration of nineteen pounds one shilling Sterl Money by him the Said Thomas Worthington to the said Nich Grimes in hand paid the receipt whereof he the Said Nicholas Grimes Doth hereby acknowledge thereof Doth Clearly Acquit Exonerate and for ever Discharge the said Thomas Worthington his heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs by these Presents Hath Given Granted Aliend Bargained Sold Enffeoff.d and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth fully clearly and absolutely Give Grant Alien Bargain Sell Enfeoff and Confirm unto the Said Thomas Worthington his heirs and assignes for ever all that Tract or Parcell of Land Lying and being in Baltemore County af.d Called Grimes Chance Lying in the County af.d and on the West Side Gwins Falls Begining at Two Bounded small White Oakes Standing near the West side of the Said Falls and Running North fifty One Degrees West Forty perches thence North Thirty five Degrees West Twenty Perches thence West forty perches thence North seventy four Degrees West Twenty four perches thence North fifty two Degrees West Twenty Perches thence North One hundred and Forty perches to the said Gwins falls thence Down the said Falls by a streight Lyne to the said Bounded Trees Containing and Laid out for Fifty Acres of Land More or Less as by his Lordships Letters Pattents bearing Date the Tenth day of September seventeen hundred and Twenty four to the said Nich.o Grimes Referance being thereto had may appear together with all and singular the Houses Edifices Buildings Pastures Orchards Cornfields Fences Trees Woods Waters Conveniances and all appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any ways appurtaining & the Reversion (and) |
