556 10 Sides Ex.d Maryland fs To all persons to whom this present indented Writing shall Come I John Eversfeild Rector of S.t Pauls Parish in Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland af.d said Greeting Know yee that I the said John Eversfeild for & in Consideration of the Naturall Love and Affection which I bear unto my well beloved son Edward Eversfield As also for & in Consideration of the sum of five Shillings Current Money of the Province af.d to me in hand paid by Richard Clagett Jun.r Uncle by the Mothers Side of my said Son the Receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge Have given Granted & Confirmed & by these presents do give grant & Confirm unto my ^s.d^ son Edward Eversfield the two tracts of Land following scituate lying & being in the County & parish af.d binding on Each other viz.t Hackthorne heath Beginning at a bounded oak of a Parcell of Land formerly laid out for Roger Brooke Gent Called ^Brooke point^ where now is fixed a stone & post & runing thence North 70 Degrees East 184 Perches to a White Oak Close by which is fixed another stone thence North 215 Perches to a line of the Land Called Brooke Ridge now in possession of John Bowie thence with the Line of Brooke Ridge South 86 Degrees West 12 Perches to a bounded stone thence North 3 Degrees West & binding on the said Land 100 Perches thence West North West 70 Perches thence South South West half Westerly 258 Perches to the line of Brooke Point then with the said Line to the first bounded Tree & Stone Containing 368 Acres as also all the Estate right title property interest Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said John Eversfield of in & to the same Parcell of Land and Premisses or any part ^or parcell^ thereof with the Appurtenances And all Pattents Deeds Escripts Writings and Evidences whatsoever touching or Concerning the same Either as to the title or quantity in possession or Expectancy likewise another Tract of Land Called Drury Lane beginning at a bounded oak ^the second bound tree^ of Hackthorne heath af.d Close to which is now fixed a bounded stone and running thence North 70 Perches thence South Sixty Degrees East 27 Perches thence South 61 Degrees East 81 Perches thence South 78 Degrees East 60 Perches then with a streight line to the first bounded Tree Containing 27 Acres Together with all & singular the buildings improvements rights advantages & Appurtenances whatsoever to the same two Tracts of Land belonging or in any ways appertaining To have and to hold the af.d two tracts of Land and Premisses with all and singular their Appurtenances unto the af.d Edward Eversfeild & the Heirs of his Body lawfully to be begotten and for Default of such Issue the Remainder thereof to John Eversfield Jun.r & the Heirs of his Body lawfully to be begotten & for Default of such Issue the Remainder thereof to me the said John Eversfield (the) |
