557 the Donor & the Heirs of my body lawfully begotten & to be begotten & for Default of such issue the Remainder thereof unto moses Eversfield of Southwark in the County of Surrey in the Kingdom of Great Britain & the Heirs of his Heirs of his Body lawfully begotten or to be begotten & for Default of such Issue the Remainder thereof unto Charles Eversfeild of Horsham in the County of Sussex in the Kingdom af.d Esq.r & the Heirs of his Body Lawfully be begotten or to be begotten & for default of such Issue the Remainder thereof unto Henry Eversfield ^Gent^ of the County of Kerry in the Kingdom of Ireland & the Heirs of his Body lawfully begotten or to be begotten And I the af.d John Eversfield the Donor the af.d two Tracts of Land & Premisses with all & Singular their Appurtenances to my af.d Son Edward Eversfield & the Heirs of his Body as af.d and to the severall parties in remainder above named & the Heirs of their bodys as af.d in Case of failure of Issue in me the said Donor against all manner of Persons Claiming or pretending to Claim by from or under me will Warrant and for ever defend by these presents In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 30.th Day of June in the twenty second Year of the Dominion of the Noble Lord Charles Lord Proprietor of the Province af.d & in the Year of our Lord 1737 Sealed & Delivered in the presence of us / Rights in John Eversfield Seale y.e 14.th line interlined before signed Pet Dent On the back of the aforegoing Deed of Gift was ^is^ thus John Beall thus Endorst Vizt June the 30.th 1737 Received of Richard Clagett Jun.r in behalf of Edward Eversfeild the Sum of five Shillings Current Money of Maryland being the Consideration Money within mentioned Witnesses present P.r John Eversfield A Contee Jos Belt jun.r Prince Georges County fs June the 30.th 1737 Came before us two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for the County af.d the Rev.d John Eversfield & Eleanor his Wife & acknowledged the Lands herein mentioned to be given Granted & Confirmed to be the Right & Estate of his Son Edw.d Eversfield & the Heirs of his Body & in default of such issue to ^be^ the right & Estate of the Severall Persons in remainder & the Heirs of their Body ^lawfully^ begotten or to be begotten And the said Eleanor being by us privately Examined out of the hearing of her said Husband did declare that she made the above acknowledgment willingly & freely without being induced thereto by fears or threats or ill usage of her said husband of ^for^ fear of his Displeasure Cap.t et Coquit Coram nobis Peter Dent Die et Anno Suprad John Beall July 1.o 1737 Received from M.r Richard Clagett Junior (uncle of the within named Edward Eversfield) Eight Shillings and five pence Sterling as an Alienation fine on the within three hundred Ninety five Acres of Land by Order of Benjamin Tasker Esq.r Agent of the Right Honble the Lord Propry of Maryland Recorded Sep.t 15.th 1735 A Contee |
