554 Exchange Rechange and all Costs Damages and Interest suffered and to be suffered for want of payment of the said Bill of Exchange This Done and Protested in London aforesaid in the Presence of Thomas Williams and Abraham Ogier Witnesses In Quorum fidem Seal Tho.s Browne Nots Pubs 2 1/2 Record.d Sept 1.st 1737 Ex.d This Indenture made this thirty first Day of March in the Year of our Lord God One thousand seven hundred thirty and seven Between Henry Donaldson of the City of Annapolis in Ann Arundell County Merchant of the one part and John Lomas of the City & County af.d Merchant and William Ghiseline of the City & County afores.d Scrivener of the other part Witnesseth that the said Henry Donaldson for & in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money to him in hand paid by the said John Lomas & W.m Ghiseline at & before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents as also in Consideration and to the intent that the said John Lomas and William Ghiseline shall satisfye and pay out of the proceeds of the sale of the Lands and tenements Goods and Chattles hereinafter mentioned to be sold and Demised All Such Debts as he now owe or is indebted to any person or persons whatsoever or at least so much thereof as the proceeds of the sale of the af.d Lands and Tenements shall amount to to be equally apportioned and divided amongst his said Creditors according to their Severall Just Claims and Demands Hath Granted bargained sold aliened & Confirmed and by these presents doth Grant bargain Sell alien & Confirme unto the said John Lomas & William Ghiseline and their Heirs and Assignes for Ever All that Tract of Land Called Philks Rest lying on the North Side of Severn River being the Land whereof a Certain John Todd and William Smith now or lately lived Containing by Patent thereof three hundred and sixteen Acres more or less Together with the Reversion and Reversions Rents & Services of all and singular the lands & premisses abovementioned and every part and parcell thereof and all the Estate right Title and Interest Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Henry Donaldson of in & unto the af.d Land & Premisses and of in and to Every part and parcell thereof with the Appurtenances above mentioned And also for the Consideration af.d he the said Henry Donaldson hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain & sell unto the af.d John Lomas and William Ghiseline their Executors Administrators and Assignes all that peice of Ground being part of the Vacant Land or Ground belonging to the free school in Annapolis on which the house Comonly Called or known by the Name of the Kentish house stands lying in the City af.d Demised and leased to him the said Henry Donaldson by the Visitors of the free school of the Province of Maryland for the Term of twenty one Years under the Yearly Rent of twenty shillings of which Term or least there is about fourteen Years unexpired or to Come and whereupon since the Granting of the af.d Lease he the said Henry Donaldson hath built a Messuage or Dwelling house of Brick And all the Estate right Interest possession Term of Years to Come (claim) |
