                                     Then Reced of John Gray four Shillings & five pence
       being for the Alienation fine of the within mentioned Lands I say
       Reced for his Lordships use P

Ex.d This Indenture made the twenty fifth Day of August in the Year
       of our Lord seventeen hundred and thirty seven Between Daniel
       Rawlings of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland
       Planter of the one part and Edward Rummey of Ann Arundell
       County & Province aforesaid Planter of the other part Witnesseth
       that the said Daniel Rawlings for & in Consideration of Forty pounds
       Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the said
       Edward Rummey at or before the Sealing & Delivery of these presents
       the Receipt whereof he the said Daniel Rawlings doth hereby
       acknowledge and Confess & himself therewith fully Contented paid and
       satisfyed and the said Edward Rummey his Heirs Ex.rs & Administrators
       therefrom doth Clearly & absolutely acquit & discharge hath
       given Granted bargained sold released Enfeoffed & Confirmed and by
       these presents doth Clearly & absolutely Give Grant bargain sell
       release Enfeoff & Confirm unto the said Edward Rummey his Heirs
       & Assigns for Ever All that tract or Parcell of Land Called Lucky
       Adventure lying in Baltimore County on the West Side of Gwins
       falls Beginning at three bounded White Oaks standing in a Glade
       descending into a branch Called Scutts Levell branch & running thence
       South West One hundred & forty Perches thence West by South ninety
       four Perches then South East One hundred & forty Eight Perches thence
       East by North Ninety four Perches thence North East One hundred and
       forty Perches then with a Streight line to the beginning Trees Containing
       & laid out for two hundred & fifty Acres more or less Together
       with all buildings improvements profits benefits and advantages
       thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to
       hold all & singular the said Tract or parcell of Land with the
       appurtenances unto the said Edward Rummey his Heirs & Assigns
       for Ever to his and their own use & behoof & to no other use intent
       or purpose whatsoever And the said Daniel Rawlings for himself
       his Heirs Executors & Administrators doth Covenant & agree to & with
       the said Edward Rummey his Heirs & Assignes shall & may at all times
       hereafter peaceably & quietly have hold occupy possess & Enjoy all &
       Singular the said Tract or parcell of Land without the Lett suit
       Molestation or Disturbance of him the said Daniel Rawlings his
       Heirs or Assignes free & clear from all Manner of Incumbrances
       And that he the said Daniel Rawlings his Heirs & Assignes all
       & singular the said Tract of Land & Premisses unto the said
