518 Ex.d This Indenture Made the Seventeenth day of May Anno Dom Seventeen Hundred thirty and Seven Between Richard Hill of Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland Surgeon of the one Part and John Galloway of the same County & Province Gentleman of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Richard Hill for the Consideration of Seventy five Pounds Sterling to him in hand paid ^before the Sealing & Delivery of these presents^ the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof doth acquit the said John his Heirs Ex.rs Administrators for ever By these Presents hath given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed & Confirmed and by these Presents doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirme unto the said John Galloway his Heirs & Assigns all the Lott of Land which he the said Richard purchased from Simon Wilmer lying in Chester Town in Kent County in the Province and now in the tenure of Nathaniel Palmer of the same Town Merchant being with the appurtenances and all Houses and Out Houses in or upon the same Being and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders thereof and all Rents Issueing thereout To have and Hold all the Bargained & Sold Premisses to the said John Galloway his Heirs & Assigns to the Use and Behoof of the same John his Heirs & Assigns for Ever And the said Richard the same Premisses to the said John his Heirs & Assigns to the use and Behoof of the same John his Heirs & Assigns for Ever and the same ^Richard^ the same Premisses to the said John his Heirs and assigns shall & Will Warrant and for Ever defend by these Presents Provided always And it is the true Intent and meaning of these Presents that if the said Richard his Heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs shall well and truly pay to the said John his Executors or Adm.rs the said Seventy five Pounds of Sterling with Lawfull Interest for the same at or upon the Seventeenth day of May next Ensuing then this Deed & all Covenants grants & agreements the receipts be Utterly void to all Intents Constructions and Purposes whatsoever In Testimony whereof the Parties to these Presents have thereunto Interchangeably Set their Hands & Seals the Day and Year first above Written Rich.d Hill Seal Sealed and Delivered in Presence of Levin Gale Samuel Chew On the Back of the foregoing Deed was thus Indorsed Viz.t |
