519 Maryland fs Be it Remembred that upon the Seventeenth day of May Anno Dom Seventeen Hundred thirty seven Before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court appeared the within named Richard Hill and Did acknowledge this Deed and all the Lands & Houses with their appurtenances in the same Deed Contained to the within named John Galloway his Heirs and assigns to the only Use & Behoof of the said John his Heirs & assigns for Ever In Testimony Whereof I Have hereunto set my hand & Seal the Day & Year above Written Levin Gale Seal Recorded May 18 1737 & U Ghiselin Reced May the 18.th 1737 of M.r John Galloway for his Lordships use the sum of one Penny Sterling being the Alienation fine on the within menconed lot of Ground By Virtue of a Comission from Benj.a Tasker Esq.r Agent & received Gener.ll to his said Lordship P Rich.d Dorsey x.d To all Christian People to whome these Presents s^h^all Come Greeting Whereas by Indenture Tripartite bearing Date the Eighth Day of December in the Year of our Lord God Seventeen hundred & thirty Between John Campbell of Ann Arundell County Planter of the first Part Hellin Jubb of the Same County Widow of the Second Part & John Beale of the Same County Gentleman of the third Part It was agreed & Concluded Between the said John Campbell & Hellin Jubb that a Marryage Should then Shortly be had & Solemnized between them by which said Indenture Tripartite mentioned is therein made that the said Hellin Jubb was possest in her own Proper Right of a Considerable Personall Estate by which said Indenture Tripartite it was thereby Testifyed Concluded Declared & Agreed Between the said Parties And he the said John Campbell did Thereby Testifye & Declare that before the said Hellin did Consent to the said Marryage & before any Conclusion thereof was made he the said John Campbell did Consent & Agree and it was so intended & Agreed between the said John Campbell & the said Hellin Jubb and the said John Campbell thereby Covenant & Agree to & with the said John Beale his Executors & Administrators & to & with Every of them thereby that the Several Goods & Chattels in the Schedule thereunto Annexed mentioned should & Might notwithstanding the said Intended Marriage be Taken & Accounted as Seperate & Distinct Estate from the Estate of him the said John (Campbell) |
