515) thereon or thereto belonging to the Only Proper Use & Behooff of him the Said Rich.d Hill his Heirs & Assigns To have and to hold the Land and premisses af.d With all & singular the Improvements Conveniences & Advantages thereon or thereto belonging or in Any Ways Appertaining unto the Said Rich.d Hill his Heirs & Assigns for Ever & he the said W.m Mordant Doth for himselfe his Heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs Covenant Promise Grant & Agree to and With the s.d Rich.d Hill his Heirs That he the Said Mordant Will forever Warrant & Defend the said Land and Premisses Against the Claims of Any Person or persons Whatsoever Provided Nevertheless that if the if the Said Mordant his heirs or Assigns doe pay unto the said Hill his Heirs or Assigns The above Menconed sum of two hundred & fourty Pounds Sterling at or upon the Tenth Day of October Next With Legal Interest That then this Deed & Every Clause thereof shall be Void to all Intents in Witness whereof the parties hereunto Set their hands & seals the Day & Year first above Written Signed Sealed & Delivered On the Back of the aforegoing Deed W.m Mordant Seal In the presence of was thus Indorst Viz.t Levin Gale Reced of Rich.d Hill within Named the Sum Stephen West of two hundred & forty pounds Sterl being the Consideration Money within Mentioned Witness My hand May y.e 10.th 1737 W.m Mordant Test Stephen West May 10.th 1737 Then Came W.m Mordant party to the Within Deed before Me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland & Acknowledged the Land & Premisses Mentioned in the within Deed to be the Right of within Named Rich.d Hill his heirs & assigns as 5 sides Within Specified Levin Gale Reced of M.r Alex.r Black Eight Shillings Sterling for the use of the Right Honourable the Lord Baltimore being for the Alienation fine of the w.thin mentioned two hundred Acres of Land Record.d May the 17.th 1737 Benj.a Tasker This Indenture Made the Sixteenth Day of May In the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred & thirty Seven Between Richard Hill of Ann Arrundell County in the Province of Maryland Chirurgeon of the One Part and John Prichard of the Same County & Province Merchant of the Other Part (Witnesseth) |
