508) This Indenture made on the Fifth Day of May Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred Thirty & Seven Between William Rawlings of Ann Arundell County Planter of the one part and Vachel Denton of the City of Annapolis in the same County Merchant of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Rawlings for and in Consideration of the Sume of Twenty pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain to him already in hand paid by the said Vachel Denton the receipt whereof he the said William Rawlings Doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and from Every part ^& parcell^ thereof Doth Hereby Exonerate Acquit and Discharge the said Vachel Denton his heirs Executors Administrators & Assignes for ever by these presents Hath Given Granted bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed Confirmed and Made Over and by these Presents he the said William Rawlings Doth for himself and his Heirs Give Grant bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe Confirm and Make over unto the said Vachel Denton his heirs Executors Adm.rs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or Parcell of Land (Granted by Pattent Issueing out of his Lordships Land Office unto the said William Rawlings Dated the Twenty fifth Day of October Seventeen hundred thirty & One) Called Williams Lott Lying in Baltemore County on the South Side of Gwinns falls Beginning at two Bounded Chesnutt Trees both proceeding out of one Root Standing on a Ridge on the South Side Scutts Levell branch between a Great Glade and the said Branch and Running thence North Seventy one and a half Degrees East one hundred and Twenty perches then South by west one hundred and Ninety two perches then South Sixty four Degrees west fifty two perches then South thirty five Degrees west fifty perches then North West Ninety perches then by a Direct line to the first Bounded Trees Containing and Laid out for one hundred & fifty Acres of Land More or less Together with all & singular the Woods Timber and Timber Trees Improvements Conveniences and Advantages to the said Tract of Land Belonging or in any manner of way Appertaining to the sole & only proper use & Behoof of him the said Vachel Denton his heirs Executors Administrators & Assignes & to no other Use Intent (or) |
