x.d  This Indenture Made the Seventeenth Day of July Anno Domini
       One thusand seven hundred & thirty five Between Benj.a Hammond of
       Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland Planter & Margaret his
       Wife of One Part & Mordicai Hammond of the County & Province Aforesaid
       Planter of the Other Part Witnesseth that he the s.d Benj.a Hamond
       & Margaret his wife for & in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred
       Pounds Sterl to them in hand Paid or Secured to be Paid by the s.d Mord.a
       Hammond Before the Ensealing & Delivery of these Presents the receipt
       Whereof they the s.d Benj.a Hammond & Margaret his wife doe hereby
       Acknowledge & thereof & Every Part & Parcell thereof Do for themselves their
       heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs dearly & Absolutely Acquit Exonerate & for ever Discharge
       the s.d Mord.a Hammond his heirs & Assigns & by these Presents have
       Given Granted bargaind and Sold Enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these Presents
       they the s.d Benj.a Hammond & Margaret his Wife doe for themselves
       & their heirs Give grant Bargain & Sell Enfeoff & Confirm unto the s.d
       Mord.a Hammond his heirs & Assigns for ever All that Tract or Parcell
       of Land called Milinda lying in Baltimore County on the Northside
       of Potapsco River in the Woods at a Place called New found Land
       Begining at two Bounded White Oakes Standing by a Small run
       about Ten Perches up the run from a great Glaide & runs thence West
       North West foure hundred Perches then North North East One hundred
       & Sixty Perches then East South East four hundred Perches then to y.e
       first Trees Containing & Laid out for four hundred Acres of Land More
       or Less & all Manner of Appurtenances & Improvements thereunto
       belonging To have And to hold the before mentioned Land and
       Premisses with their & every of their Appurtenances unto the s.d Mord.a
       Hammond his heirs & Assigns for ever & to no Other use Intent or
       Purpose Whatsoever And the s.d Benj.a Hammond & Margaret
       his wife doth hereby for themselves their heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs Covenant
       & Agree to & with the s.d Mord.a Hammond his heirs & Assigns that
       they the s.d Benj.a Hammond & Margaret his Wife the bargained
       Premisses with the Appurtenances unto the s.d Mord.a Hammond
       his heirs & Assigns Shall & will Warrant & for ever Defend
       Against them the s.d Benj.a Hammond & Margaret his wife the
