(344) Hundred & Fifty Acres of Land part of a Tract Called Unckles Good Will & lying in Baltimore County To have & to hold the said Two Parcells of Land with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Charles Carroll his heirs & Assigns for ever Clear and Free from all Incumberances Whatsoever And the s.d Joyce for her Self & her heirs Doth hereby Warrant unto him the Said Charles & his heirs for ever the two Parcells of Land aforesaid Against all Claims Whatsoever Provided Nevertheless And it is the true Intent & meaning of these Presents that if the said Joyce shall well & truly pay unto the said Charles Carroll the aforesaid sum of fifty four pounds Sterling with Legall Intrest thereon at or upon the 25.th Day of March Next ensuing the Date thereof then the above Deed to be Utterly Void Otherwise to remain in full Force & Virtue in Whereof the Parties to these Presents have Interchangably set their hands & Affixed their seales the Day & Year first above Written Joyce Bradford seale Signed Sealed & Delivered In the P.rsence of Nicholas Brooke John Maccubbin Son of W.m On the Back of the foregoing Deed Is thus Indorst Viz.t 1735 March 25.th Then reced of M.r Charles Carroll the sum of fifty four Pounds Sterling the Consideration within Mentioned Witness Nicholas Brooke Joyce Bradford 1735 Mach 25.th Then Came Before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Joyce Bradford & Acknowledged the within Deed According to an Act of Assembly in such Cases made & Provided Record.d June y.e 24.th 1735 Robert Gordon 4 sides |
