(312) x.d This Indenture made this seventh Day of Aprill Anno Domini seventeen hundred thirty & five Between Patrick Noale of Baltimore County Planter of the one Part & Philip Hammond of Ann Arundell County Merchant of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said Patrick Noale for and in Consideration of the sum of forty four pounds & eight pence Sterling to him in hand paid at & before the Ensealing & Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he Doth hereby Acknowledge & himself to be fully satisfyed Contented & Paid hat given granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these Presents doth give grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe & Confirm unto the s.d Philip Hammond his heirs & assigns for ever To say all that Tract or Parcell of Land Called Friendly Purchase Lying in Baltimore County af.d Begining at three Bounded red Oaks Standing upon a Hill by a little Glade Descending into Brices Great run & runing thence North forty six Degrees west forty Perches then West sixteen perches then North forty five Degrees West fifty four P.s then South fifty Six Degrees west ten Perches then North Ten Deg.s East forty Six Perches then North forty Degrees East Eighty Perches then South Twenty five Degrees East one hundred perches then South Fifty Six Degrees East thirty two Perches then South ten Degrees East Sixteen Perches then by a Direct Line to the first Bounded Trees Containing & Laid out for Seventy Acres of Land more or less as per Certificate Dated the Eighth Day of May seventeen hundred thirty & one & also one Mare five Years Old branded thus x on the Buttock one horse five Years old branded on the Buttock thus (W) One Horse four Year Old branded on the Buttock thus (M) One Yearling Colt branded thus (C) One old Mare bigg with foal five cows & four calves one two years Old stear two Yearlings four Sows five Barrows Eighteen Choates & four Piggs three Ewes one lamb & one rain two Pewter Plates & one Puter Dish one Chest one Trunk one Feather Bed & furniture four Iron Potts two P.r Pothooks one servant Man Blankitts three Tin pans together with sixteen rooms of Tobacco Esteemed to be three Thousand six hundred pound Weight of Tobacco To have and to Hold the s.d Tract or Parcell of Land together with all and (Singular) |
