       The s.d Betty Gale & Levin Gale Executors of the s.d Levin Denwood full satisfaction
       & Compensation for the s.d sum of Eight hundred & Twenty Pounds five shillings and
       seven pence Sterling together with such Costs & Charges as they should be
       at About the recovery hereof & to make & execute any Deed or Deeds of
       Conveyance or Conveyances for the Confirmation of such Sale as by the s.d
       Act more fully & at Large Appears And Whereas there has not yet by
       Virtue of the said Act been Sufficient Raised to Satisfie the Debt af.d
       And Whereas also the s.d Walter Smith & Roger Mathews on the
       Sixteenth Day of April Last past did expose to publick sale in the
       City of Annapolis to the Highest Bidder Certain Lands Whereof the said
       Samuel Groome the Younger was seized Viz.t one Tract of Land Lying
       in Calvert County Called Austins Chance Containing by Estimation
                                              Acres also a parcell of Land Contiguous to the
       Said Austins Chance Called Austins Addition & Containing
                                                       Acres & also that Moiety of a
       Tract of Land Lying & being in Baltimore County Called Chevey
       Chace & Containing in the whole four hundred Acres of which the
       said Groome was Possessed & Dyed Seized And Whereas the af.d George
       Gale & John Gale bid them for the s.d Lands & Premisses with the
       Appurtenances thereunto belonging the sum of Sixty four pounds
       Ten Shillings Sterling which was the highest Prise that was
       bid for the Same This Indenture therefore further
       Witnesseth that the af.d Walter Smith & Roger Mathews
       Commissioners af.d Appointed by the Act af.d for & in Consideration
       that the af.d George Gale & John Gale have satisfied & paid to
       the af.d Betty Gale & Levin Gale the af.d sum of sixty four
       Pounds ten Shillings as the s.d Levin Acknowledges towards satisfaction
       of the Debt af.d & for that the af.d George Gale & John Gale
       were the Highest Bidders for the same Land in pursuance
       of the Act of Assembly afores.d the af.d Walter Smith & Roger
       Mathews by these Presents have Given & Do give grant
       Bargain Sell Transferr & make Over unto teh af.d George
       Gale & John Gale their heirs & Assigns for ever all the
       Lands Premisses Appurtenances & Hereditaments thereunto
       belonging or which of right Doth belong unto them
       the af.d George Gale & John Gale their heirs & assigns
