(31)   Things Device or Devices assurance or assurances & Conveyances
          in the Law whatsoever for the further Better & more
          perfect assurance surety sure making and Conveying
          all & singular the before hereby Granted or Mencond
          to be Granted Premisses with their and every of their

  x.d   This Indenture made the Tenth day of June one
          Thousand seven hundred and thirty One Between Daniel  
          Carroll of Marlbrow in Prince Georges County Merchant of the
          One Part and Doctor Charles Carroll of the Citty of Annapolis
          of the Other Part Witnesseth that the Said Daniell Carroll for
          and in Consideration of the Sume of Twenty pounds Current
          Money to him in hand paid at & before the Ensealing and
          Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby
          acknowledge and himselfe therewith fully satisfyed and
          Contented Hath given Granted Bargained Sold Aliend Enfeoff
          and Confirmed ^and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm^ unto the Said Doctor Charles Carroll his heirs
          and assignes for ever Two Lotts of Ground in the Town of
          Marlborow being Number Ten and sixteen as by the
          Platt thereof may appear more at Large To have and
          To hold the Said Two Lotts of Ground with all appurtenances
