       John Hammond Son of Charles for himself & his heirs Doth further
       Covenant & Grant to & with the s.d Philip Hammond that he the Said John
       Hammond Son of Charles & his heirs the Said Land & Premisses & Every Part
       & Parcell thereof unto him the s.d Philip Hammond his heirs & Assigns from
       & Against him the s.d John Hammond Son of Charles his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs
       or Assigns & from & against all Manner of Persons that may lay any
       Claime thereto by from or under him or them or any or either of them
       shall & will Warrant & for ever Defend by these Presents And lastly the
       Said John Doth Covenant & Grant to & with the s.d Philip that he the said
       John & his heirs at any time hereafter upon the request of the s.d Philip
       his heirs or Assigns & at their Cost & Charge shall & will make doe or
       Suffer to be done any other further Reasonably Act or Acts thing or
       Things Devise or Devises whatsoever for the better Suretie & Suremaking
       of the af.d Land & Premisses unto him the s.d Philip Hammond his
       heirs & Assignes as by him the Said Philip Hammond or his heirs or
       his or their Councell Learned in the Law shall be reasonably
       Devised ^advised^ or required   In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents
       have hereunto set their   hands & Affixed their Seales the Day & Year
       first above Written

    Rezin Hammond                     On the Back of the foregoing Deed is thus
                                              Indorst Viz.t
       Then reced of Philip Hammond the Sume of forty Pounds Sterling
       being the Consideration money within Mentioned

       before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court And
       Acknowledged the within Instrument as his Act & Deed & the Land and

       Named Philip Hammond his heirs & signs for ever according to the
       true Intent & Meaning of the Same Deed & at the same time
       Came Anne the Wife of the s.d John Who being Privately Examined
       And out of the hearing of her Said Husband Declared that She
