(295) He Doth hereby Acknowledge & himself to be fully Satisfyed Contented & Paid hath given granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these Presents doe fully & Absolutely give grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe & Confirm unto the s.d Philip Hammond his heirs & assigns for ever To say all that tract or Parcel of Land lying in Baltimore County Called Hunters Chance Beginning at four bounded red Oaks & one bounded white Oak Standing on a Leavill by a Hallow that Leads out of the West Falls from an Ivy Point & runing thence North ten Degrees east two hundred and forty Perches then North twenty eight Degrees east Twenty Eight P.s Then North fifty one Degrees east forty Perches then South Eighty one Degrees east forty Perches then South Sixteen Degrees East sixty Eight Perches then South nine Degrees east twenty eight P.rches then South one Degree West & fifty perches then South two Degrees West thirty two Perches then South Seventy Eight Degrees East Eighty Six Perches then North seventy three Degrees east thirty eight P.s then south thirty six Degrees east eighty Perches then south eleven Degrees east forty Perches then South fifty one Degrees West One hundred Perches then by a Direct Line to the Begining Trees Containing & Laid out for five hundred Acres of Land more or Less as by the Certificate of Survey taken & Returned into the Land Office bearing Date the thirty first Day of March Seventeen hundred & thirty & there remaining upon Record Appears Togeather with all & singular the Premisses & Appurtenances unto the same Tract or Parcell of Land belonging or in Any wise Appertaining To have and to hold the said tract or Parcell of Land together with all & singular the Premisses & Appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Philip Hammond his heirs & assigns for ever To the only Proper use & behoof of him the s.d Philip Hammond his heirs & Assins for ever And it is Covenanted granted & Agreed by & between the s.d John Hamond Son of Charles & the s.d Philip Hammond ^that he the said Philip Hammond^ his heirs & Assigns shall & may for ever hereafter Peaceably & Quietly have hold Occupy Possess & Enjoy the s.d Tract or Parcell of Land above mentioned with all & every the Premisses & Appurtenances unto the same belonging Free from any Lett Trouble Hindrance Molestation or Eviction of him the Said John Hammond son of Charles his heirs Ex.rs Administrators or Assigns And the s.d (John) |
