(293) Fees posted so far for the year 1734 and alienation list also x.d This Indenture Made the twelfth Day of October in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred thirty & four Between Richard Colegate of Baltimore County Gent of the one Part & Dan.l Dulany of Annapolis Esq.r of the other Part Witnesseth that the s.d Richard Colegate for & in Consideration of fifty Pounds Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the said Dan.l Dulany before y.e Ensealing these Presents the receipt whereof he Doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof & of every Part & parcel thereof Doth hereby Clearly & Absolutely Acquit & Discharge the Said Dan.l Dulany his heirs & assigns by these Presents hath Granted Bargained Sold & Confirmed & by these Presents Doth fully & Absolutely Grant Bargain Sell & Confirm unto the Said Dan.l Dulany his heirs & assigns all the right Title Interest Claim & Demand of him the said Richard Colegate which he the Said Michard Colegate now hath or ever had or might could or ought to have of & in one Tract of Land Called Ellis's Chance (Saving & Excepting to him the said Michard Colegate the Benefit & Liberty of Tending Occupying & Useing Sixty Acres thereof Discribed as follows Viz.t Next Adjacent to his Present Dwelling Plantation & Timber for the Necessary Repairs of the Buildings thereon so long only as the Said Richard Colegate Shall Actually Reside on & Occupy the Same) & also all Deeds & Writings Whatsoever touching & Concerning the Premisses only To have & to Hold the Said right & title of in & to all & Singular the said Tract of Land & Appurtenances except as before excepted to the s.d Dan.l Dulany his heirs & assigns to the only Proper use & behoof of him the said Dan.l Dulany his heirs & assigns for ever And the s.d Richard Colegate for himself doth Covenant & Grant to & with the s.d Dan.l Dulany his heirs & assigns that he the said Richard Colegate hath not at any time heretofore made any former or Other Bargain Sale Gift grant lease Release or Confirmation of his right to Any Person or Persons whatsoever of in or to all or any part of the hereby Granted Premisses Nor done of Suffered any Act to Destroy the same In Witness whereof the s.d Richard Colegate hath hereunto set his hand & Seal the Day & Year first above Written Sealed & Delivered Rich.d Colegate Seale In Psence of W.m Wilkins On the back of the foregoing Deed is thus John Tootell Indorst Viz.t Rich.d Tootell (Received) |
