       Last will & Testam.t Bearing Date in Sussex County On Delaware
       24.th day of March 1727 & Duly Recorded & proved as by the same
       Reference therto being had may appear which said Rebecca
       Cornwallis by her Deed of Bargain & Sale bearing Date 5.th Day of June
       1731 did Jointly with with William & John Conwell Bargain
       sell allien enfeoff & Confirm unto Andrew Caldwell
       afd all & singular their Right Title Interest Claim
       & Demand of what Kind or Nature soever by the afd
       Penelope Cornwallis widow ^of^ London Conveyed Sold assigned
       & Made Over unto the afd William Vanhaes ^Cornwallis^ alias
       Riddlesden & Mentioned in the afd Recited Deed bearing Date
       in London s.d ^day of^ July Anno Dom 1722 Now this Indenture
       further Witnesseth that the said Andrew Caldwell
       for & Consideration of the sum of forty pounds Current
       Money Maryland to him hand paid & satisfyed at
       & before the ensealing & delivery of these presents the
       Receipt whereof he Doth hereby acknowledge & thereof
       doth Acquit & Discharge them the said John Ross & Charles
       Carroll & Likewise for divers other good & Valuable
       Causes him thereunto Moving hath given granted
       bargained sold aliened enfeoffed & Confirmed & Doth by these
       Presents Absolutely & freely give grant bargain sell
       alien enfeoff & Confirm unto them the said John Ross
       & Charles Carrol their heirs & assignes for ever all &
       singular the Right Title Interest Claime & Demand be same 
       of what Nature Kind or Denomination soever which y.e s.d
       Penelope Cornwallis of London Widow by the said Recited
       Deed bearing Date in London 22.d Day of June 1722 Conveyed
       Sold Assigned transferred or made over unto the said William
       Vanhaes Cornwallis alias Riddlesen or which by the s.d
       Deed was Intended or Expressed to be Assigned transferred & made
       over unto him the said William Vanhaes Cornwallis alias
       Riddlesden & which by Means ^afd^ became the Right & Estate
