(12) x.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture
made this Seventh day of July in the Year of Our Lord God One Thousand seven hundred and Thirty One Between John Lacon I^s^raell of Baltemore County Planter of the one part and George Buchanan of the Said County Chirgeon of the other part Witnesseth that Whereas John Israel late of the aforesaid County Deceased did by his Last Will & Testament bearing Date the Twentieth day of January Anno Dom 1723 Devise to his sons John Lecon Israel Gilbert Talbot Israel and Robert Israel all the Lands whereof he the said John was then Possessed Consisting of seven hundred and fifty four acres vizt five hundred & sixty seven Acres part of Yates.s forbearance eighty seven acres Called Yates his Addition and one hundred acres Called the Inlargment to be Equally Divided Between them the said John Gilbert & Robert when they should arrive at the Ages of Twenty one years respectively Now this Indenture further Witnesseth that the said John Lacon Israel for and in Consideration of the sume of Forty pounds Sterling Money of great Brittain to him in hand paid and satisfied by the said George Buchanan at and before the Ensealing & Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof he Doth hereby acknowledge & thereof & from every part & parcell thereof Doth acquit and Discharge him the said George Buchanan his heirs executors administrators & assignes hath given granted Bargain sold aliened enfeoffed & Confirmed and Doth by these presents absolutely and Freely give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff & Confirm unto him the said George Buchanan his heirs and assigns for ever one hundred and fifty one acres the Eastermost part of the said Yates.s Forbearance that is to say Lying Between the part of the said Land in the Tenure of the Heirs of Richard Colegate & the East Lyne of the said Land and on the Given Lyne ^south^ thereof together with all and Singular the Buildings Improvements Rights Profitts and Appurtenances thereon or thereto belonging or any ways appurtaining To have and to hold To him the Said George Buchanan his heirs and assignes for ever the said One hundred & fifty one acres the Eastermost part of the said Yates.s forbearance with the appurtenances to his and their proper use and Behoofe and to no other use Meaning or Intent (whatsoever) |
