             Ex.d
             To all persons to whome these presents shall come I Benjamine
             Brashear of Prince Georges County eldest son & heir at law of
             Robert Brashear late of County deceased sendeth greeting
             Know Ye that Whereas the said Robert Brashears being
             legally seized in fee of a certain tract of land in Calvert County
             aforesaid called upper Bennett within the bounds whereof there
             is certified to be contained two hundred &      acres of surplus
             to the preemption whereof from his Lordships favour the Lord
             Proprietary as well in equity as by the ordinary course of his
             Lordships favour in such cases I the said Benjamin Brashears
             am now entituled Therefore for & in consideration of the sum
             of ten pound current money of this Province to me the s.d Benjamin
             Brashears in hand paid by Phillip Thomas of Annarrundell County
             the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge & of all & every
             part thereof do Exonerate acquitt & discharge the said Philip
             Thomas his Ex.rs Adm.rs forever & for divers other good causes
             & consideracons me hereunto moveing have given granted sold
             assigned released conveyed & made over by these presence do
             give grante sell assign release convey & make over unto him
