(61) Premisses to him the said John
Browne his heirs and assigns for Ever of and from all manner of persons whatsoever And that the said premisses are free and clear of and from all other bargains mortgages conveyances or Incumbrances whatsoever and lastly that he the said John Todd his heires Extors adm.rs or assigns at the request of the said John Browne his heires or assigns at any time hereafter shall make Do and Execute any further or other Deed or Deeds for the further and more Effectual Conveying and assuring the premisses afd To him the said John Brown his heires and assignes for ever according to the true intent and meaning of these presents In Wittness whereof the said parties have hereunto sett our hands & seals the Day and year first above written John Todd seal On the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed (viz.t) signed sealed and Delivered In the presence of us Samuel Young Thomas Googh Memorandum That this Day to witt the 20.th day of January 1724 came before me his Lordships Cheif Justice of the provincial Court of this province John Todd and acknowledged the w.thin Instrument to be his act and Deed and also Sarah Todd wife of the s.d John Todd being secretly Examned out of the hearing of her said husband acknowledged her free consent to the s.d Deed and that she is not Induced to make such acknowledgement by any Compulsion or threats of her s.d husband or fear of his Displeasure but that she Does the same of her owne free will acknowledged the Day and year above said before me Sam.ll Young X.d the Day and year first within mentioned of the within named John Brown the Consideration Money within mentioned to be paid to me by him I say x.d by me John Todd Rich.d Owings R.d May y.e 7.th 1725 |
