(522) x.d This Indenture Made the Twenty second day
                of March Anno Dom seventeen hundred and Thirty
                By and Between Ephraim Agustine Herman of
                Cecill County Gent of the One part and Vachel Denton
                of the City of Annapolis Gent of the Other Part
                Witnesseth that the said Ephraim Augustine Herman
                for and in Consideration of the sume of Twenty
                pounds sterling to him in hand paid the receipt whereof
                he the said Ephraim Doth hereby acknowledge
                and for ever thereof and therefrom Doth Acquit the
                said Vachel Denton As also for ever hereafter to prevent
                any Law Suit Betwixt the said parties Concerning y.e
                following Mentioned Land & for Divers other good
                Causes and Considerations him the said Ephraim
                Agustine Herman ^hereunto moveing^ Hath granted Bargained & Sold
                released and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth
                Grant Bargain Sell release & Confirm unto the
                said Vachel Denton and his heirs for Ever all that
                Tract of Land Called Askmore Containing by Estimation
                five hundred and fifty Acres of Land scituate Lying &
                being in Cecill County af.d Originally to wit on the
                Eighth day of September Anno Dom sixteen hundred
                and Eighty seven surveyed for John Browning and
                Henry Denton with all Houses Woods and Underwoods
                Waters and Advantages unto the same belonging
                or appertaining Alsoe all appurtenances to the
                same Belonging Also all the Estate Right Title
                Intrest Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the
                said Ephraim Augustine of in & to the same To
                Have and to hold the said Tract of Land and premisses
                with the appurtenances unto the said Vachel
                Denton his heirs and assignes for ever And the said
                Ephraim Agustine Herman for himselfe his heirs
                Executors ^&^ Administrators Doth Covenant Grant and
                Agree To and with the said Vachel Denton his heirs
                executors administrators and assignes that the the
