5) Before whom the above acknowledgemt was taken are two of the Right hon.ble the Lord proprietary justices of the peace in Balt County af.d In Testimoney whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and affixed the seal of the s.d County the twenty fourth daye of feb.y Anno Dom 1723 in Testimoney whereof I have hereto set my hand & affixed the seal of Baltemore County af.d the Day & year aforsaid John Stokes Clk s.d Coty Seal Recorded April 20.th 1724 x.d This Indenture made the Twenty first day of Aprill in the Tenth year of the Reign of our soveraign Lord George King of Great Brittain &c.a Annoque Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty four Between John Yarnshaw of Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland Tanner and Elizabeth his wife of the one part and Amos Garret of the City of Annapolis in the province of Maryland Merchant of the Other part Wittnesseth that the said John Yarnshaw for and in Consideration of the sum of Twenty five pounds sterl money of Great Brittain to the said John in delivery hereof the receipt whereof the said John Yarnshaw doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and every part and percell thereof doth hereby fully clearly and absolutely exonerate acquit and discharge him the said Amos Garret his heires Ex.rs and Adm.rs Hath bargained sold aliened enffeofed and Confirmed as by these presents he the said John Yarnshaw doth for him selfe and his heires bargain sell alien enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Amos Garrett all and every the hereafter mentioned One Tract of Land &c.a called Murpheys adventure lying in Baltemore County containing and laid out for two hundred and fifty acres more or less as by his Lordships Letters pattents dated October 1707 granted to W.m Murphey and was by said W.m Murphey p.r Deed indented acknowledges |
