(425) Hundred sixty Eight perches to a Bounded
Maple then North West One hundred & eighty perches to the Land Called Mill Haven thence North East & by East Eighty perches to an Old Bounded white oak thence South East seventy six perches thence East & by North fifty five perches to a Bounded Water Oake by the branch side thence North North East sixty perches then with a streight Lyne to the first Tree Containing Ninety two acres as by the patent thereof bearing date the Tenth day of October One Thousand seven hundred & seven To have and to Hold to him the said Charles Carroll his heirs & assigns for ever to his & their proper use & Behoof And to no other use Meaning or intent whatsoever together with all & singular the Rents arrearages of Rents Houses Fences Orchards and all other the appurtenances thereon or thereunto belonging or appurtaining And the said Mich.ll Doth Covenant & Agree to & with him the said Charles y.t he the said Mich.ll Doth ^shall^ and will Warrant & Defend the said Bargained Premisses to him the said Charles his heirs & assigns for ^ever^ [illegible] against him the said Michael as ay of by or under him Claiming In Witness Whereof and the aforegoing premisses the said parties hath hereunto Interchangeably set their hands & seals the day and year above Written M Taylor seale Signed Sealed & Delivered in the presence of Peter Overard John Gailey On the Back of the Aforegoing Indenture was thus Endorst viz.t Recd of Doctor Charles Carroll the sum of Fifteen pounds Current Money of Maryland being the Consideration Money within Mencond Witness my hand this 13.th day of June 1730 M Taylor Witness present Peter Overard John Gailey |
