(424)     the twenty seventh & Twenty Eight Lines And the Word (first)

             On the Back of the aforegoing Indenture was thus Endorst
             vizt   Maryland fs      May the 30 1730

             Memorandum [illegible] that ^on^ the day and year
             above written came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships
             Justices of the Provinciall Court the Within named Edward
             Mitchel and Acknowledged the within Written Deed to be his
             Act and Deed & that the within Granted Five Tracts of Land
             and premisses are the proper right & Estate of the said Rich.d
             Snowden his heirs & assigns for ever according to the true
             intent & meaning of the within Written Indenture
             In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my
             name the day and year above Written

             (Recorded the 26.th day of June 1730)

       x.d This Indenture made this thirteenth Day of June Anno
             Domini One Thousand seven Hundred & thirty By and
             Between Mich.ll Taylor of Prince Georges County
             in the Province of Maryland Gent of the one part And
             Doctor Charles Carroll of the City of Annopollis in the
             Province af.d of the other part Witnesseth the said
             Mich.ll Taylor for & in Consideration of the sume of Fifteen
             pounds Current Money of Maryland the receipt whereof
             he Doth hereby acknowledge & thereof Doth acquit him
             the said Carroll his heirs executors & administrators as
             also for divers other good causes and him thereunto Moving
             Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeofd
             & Confirmed & Doth by these presents Give Grant bargain
             sell alien enfeof & confirm unto him the said Charles
             Carroll his heirs & assigns for ever one Tract or parcell of
             Land scituate lying and being in Baltemore County on
             the North side Patasco River Called & known by the name
             of Monmoth Green Beginning at a Bounded white Oake
             standing close by the Middle Branch of the said River
             thence Running South West ten perches thence North
             West Twenty five perches thence South South West one
