(351) x.d This Indenture made the twenty third day of
August Anno Domini seventeen hundred and Twenty Nine Between Thomas Larkin of Ann Arundell County in y.e province of Maryland of the one part and mary Woodward and Elizabeth Ginn of Great Brittain Widows sisters and sole heirs to Amos Garrett Late of the City of Annapolis in the province of Maryland Esq.r deceased of the other part witnesseth that the said Thomas Larkin for and in consideration of the sume of one hundred and ninety one pounds ten shillings & three pence sterling to him in hand paid by Amos Woodward of Ann Arundell County administrator of the said Amos Garrett Deceased for and on behalfe of the said Mary Woodward and Elizabeth Guin before the Ensealing and Delivery hereof the recp.t whereof he the said Thomas Larkin Doth hereby acknowledge and by these presents Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell unto the said Mary Woodward & Elizabeth Ginn of Great Brittain af.d all that part of a Tract of Land lying in Ann Arundell County called Piney Groves containing eleven hundred and twenty six acres more or Less on which the said Thomas Larkin has now a plantation near the Head of Severn which said parcell of Land is the residue of a Tract orriginally Granted to the af.d Thomas Larkin for three Thousand one hundred & twenty six acres more or less to be held of the Manner of Ann Arundell also one other Tract of Land called Arcadia Lying in the af.d County about three miles from the former tract on a branch of Severn River called broad branch Laid out and Granted for four hundred ^twenty four^ Acres of Land more or Less to the said Thomas Larkin also one other Tract of Land lying in Baltimore County on the head Branches of Bush River and on a Branch Called James Run laid out for five hundred acres called Elberfield Also Twelve hundred and fifty Acres of Land part of a Tract of Land Called sollitude lying in Baltemore County on the Branches of Muddy Creek which Defends into Susquahanah River the originall Tract being Granted unto the said Thomas Larkin for Two Thousand five hundred Acres of Land more or less and the moiety thereof to the South and West being convey.d by the said Thomas Larkin unto a certain Christian Geist the remainder of which being the Land hereby intended to be morgaged in the severall Tracts and parcels of Land af.d being containd in the whole (Three) |
