(284) x.d   This Indenture made the seventeenth day of July
                in the year of our Lord Christ One Thousand seven hundred
                and Twenty Eight   Between Mathew Howard of Kent
                County in the province of Maryland Planter of the one
                part and Anne Price of Queen Anns County in the same
                Province Widow of the other part Witnesseth that
                the said Mathew Howard for and in Consideration of
                the sume of Fifty pounds Current Money of the province
                aforesaid to him in hand paid by the said Anne Price
                at and before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents
                for the absolute purchase of the Land and premisses
                hereafter Mentioned the receipt whereof he the said
                Mathew Howard Doth hereby Acknowdeldge & Confess
                and himself to be therewith fully sattisfied and paid &
                thereof and from every part and parcell thereof the
                said Mathew Howard Doth for himself his heirs Execut.rs
                and Administrators and for every of them fully freely
                Clearly and absolutely acquit Exonerate release and for ever
                Discharge the said Anne Price her heirs Executors Administrators
                and assigns and every of them for Ever by these
                presents Hath Given Granted bargained sold and
                aliened released Enfeoffed remised & Confirmed and by
                these presents Doth for himself and his heirs and for every
                of them fully freely Clearly & absolutely Give Grant bargain
                sell alien release enfeoffe quit Claim remise &
                Confirm unto her the said Anne Price her heirs & assigns
                for Ever All that Tract or parcell of Land Called Poplar
                Plaine lying in the County of Ann Arundell on y.e North
                side of the Bodkin Creeke of Potapsco River Beginning
                at a bounded Pine Tree of the Land of Robert Procter
                and Running West Two hundred perches to another bounded
                Pine Then North Two hundred perches then North
                West Three hundred perches to a bounded Oak then
                East Two hundred perches to the said Proctors Land then
                with the said Proctors Land south East Three hundred
                perches still with the said Land running running south
                to the first Tree Containing five hundred acres more or
                                                                                  (less)
