(274)    And Confirmed and doth by these presents Clearly and
             Absolutely Give Grant and bargain sell alien release
             Enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll
             his heirs and assigns for ever all that Tract or parcell
             of Land Called Gaitrells Rest scituate Lyeing and
             being in Baltemore County on the north side of Patapsco
             River being part of a Tract of Land Called Johnsons
             Inherit, originally granted unto Anthony Johnson
             of Baltemore County and by the said Anthony Conveyed
             and made over unto the aforesaid John Gaitrell
             Father of the said Francis by a deed of Bargain &
             Sale duly Indented Executed and Recorded bearing
             Date the 30.th day of July 1698 and Recorded in
             Baltemore County Records Libro N W N A folio
             (72) begining at a bounded white oak standing on
             a Ridge a bounded Tree of said Johnsons Interest &
             Running west and by north one hundred and sixteen
             perches to another Reced ^bounded^ white oake of the said Land
             then with a Line Drawn North and by East one hundred
             and seventy perches to a bounded Spanish Oake
             standing in a Dry Valley then East and by South two
             Hundred and four perches then south and by West
             One hundred and sixty perches then West and South
             untill it Intersect a Line of the aforesaid Johnsons Intrest
             then with the Line of the said Land to the first
             tree Containing One hundred and sixty acres of Land
             together with all the Buildings Improvements
             profitts advantages & appurtenances to the said
             Tract of Land belonging or appertaining to have
             and to hold the said Tract of Land and appurtenances
             under the meets and Bounds aforesaid to him the
             said Charles Carroll his heirs and assigns for Ever &
             the said Francis Gaitrell doth Covenant grant
             and Agree to and with the said Charles that at y.e
             Time of the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents
             he the said Francis stands and is seized of and in a
             Good and sure Estate in fee simple of in & to the
