(272) If them or Either of them And the said Stephen
Gill for himself and his heirs doth further Covenant and agree to and with the said Charles Carroll his heirs & assigns that the said Two Tracts of Land contain the Quantity of Three Hundred Acres Clear and Exclusive of all former or more ancient surveys Except such part of Howards Chance not Exceeding Twenty Five Acres as may be Included in Walnutt Neck both which Tracts of Land and premisses with the appurtenances (Except as before Excepted) the said Charles Carroll and his heirs and assigns for Ever shall and may peacably have hold and Enjoy without any Charge or Incumbrance the Rents & Services hereafter to grow due to the Lord Proprietary only Excepted and foreprised And the said Stephen Gill doth hereby Covenant to do and Execute other any Further act or acts at the proper Costs and Charges of the said Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns that shall be necessary for the further and more firm and secure Conveyance of the premisses and that shall reasonably be advised devised or required by the said Charles Carroll his heirs or assigns or his or their Councill Lerned in the Law within seven years from the Date hereof so as such Conveyance or assurance contain no other or more General warranty then these presents In Witness whereof the said Stephen Gill hath hereunto set ^put^ his hand and seal the day and year first above Written his Stephen S Gill seale mark On the back of the aforegoing Indenture is Thus Indorst Received the within sume Sealed and Delivered of Eighty pounds sterling in the presence of the being the Consideration Words [Close perches] first Money within Mentiond Interlined his D Dulany p me Stephen S Gill present John Haswell D Dulany John Haswell over |
