(153)     hundred and seven acres of Land more or less according to the Certificate
             of Survey thereof taken and returned into the Land Office of the said
             Charles Lord Baltemore bearing Date the Fifteenth Day of February One
             Thousand Seven hundred & twenty three & there remaining Together ^with^ all
             Messuages and Buildings thereupon Erected or to be Erected And all
             Rights profits Benefits and priviledges thereunto belonging (Royal
             Mines excepted) To have and to hold the same (Except before Excepted)
             unto her the said Mary Hall her heirs and assignes for ever to be holden
             of us the said Charles Lord Baltemore and our Heirs as ^of our^ af.d Manner of
             Ann Arundell in Free & Comon Soccage by fealty only for all Manner of
             services yielding and paying therefore yearly unto unto us the said
             Charles Lord Baltemore and our heirs at our Receipt at the City
             of S.t Marys at the Two most usuall Feasts in the year (viz.t) the Feast
             of S.t Michaell The Archangel and the Annunciation of the Blessed
             Virgin Mary by even and even and equal portions the rent of four
             shillings and three pence farthings sterling in Silver or Gold or
             and for a Fine upon every Alienation of the said Land or any part
             or parcell thereof one whole years Rent in Silver or Gold or the
             full value thereof in such Comodites as we the said said Lord
             Baltemore and our Heirs or such Officer or Officers as shall be
             appointed by us & our Heirs from time to time to Collect & Receive y.e
             same shall accept in Discharge thereof at the choice of us & our
             Heirs or such Officer or Officers aforesaid Provided that if the said
             sum of a Fine for Alienations hall not be paid to us and our Heirs
             or such Officer or Officers af.d before such Alienation Entered
             upon Record either in the provinciall Court or County Court where
             the same parcell of Land lyeth w.thin one month next after such
             Alienation then the said Alienation shall be void and of no Effect
             and they the said John Hyde and Charles Lowe for themselves
             severally and respectively and not joyntly nor the one for the
             other or for the Act Deed or Deeds of the other and for their severall
             and respective Heirs Executors and Adm.rs but not for
