presents Do Give grant Bargain sell enfeoffe alienate and confirm Unto the said Samuel Chew his heirs and Assigns for ever all that percell of Land called Sterlings Chance lying and being in Calvert County aforesaid Beginning at a bounded pock Hickory being a bounded Tree of the Land called Sterlings Nest and running south and by East one hundred & Eighty five perches to a Locust being another Bounded Tree of Sterlings Nest Then East into Fishing Creek Includeing the Marsh Northerly untill it Intersects an East Line from the first bounded Hickory And West with the said Line to the first bounded Tree Containing and Laid out for Forty Acres of More or Less and all Woods Timber and Timber Trees Wayes Waters Easments proffits and Commoditys to the same belonging or in any Ways appeartaining and all the Estate Right Title Property Claim and Demand of them the said Alexand.r Adair and Christian his wife Their Heirs and Assigns out of in and into all and every the hereby granted pmisses To have and to hold the said ^forty^ acres of Land Called Sterlings Chance Buttd & bounded as af.d and all and Every the hereby granted Premisses unto the said Samuel Chew his heirs and Assigns for Ever To the only proper use and Behoof of him the said Samuell Chew his heirs and Assigns for Evermore To be holden of the Cheif Lord of the Fee in its Proportion according to the Grant of the said Tract and the said hereby granted Land & prmises free and Clear from all Manner of Incumbrances the said Alexander Adair and Christian his wife for themselves their heirs Executors & Adm.rs unto the said Samuell Chew his heires and Assigns against all ^person and^ persons whatsoever shall and for ever will |
