being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Kent County," subtitle "County Treasurer," providing that
the County Commissioners of Kent County may supplement the
salary of the County Treasurer.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 205 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County
(1968 Edition, being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), title "Kent County," subtitle "County Treasurer," be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

205.

The Treasurer shall appoint a deputy Treasurer who shall qualify
under the Constitution of the State, and shall give such bond to the
Treasurer as he may require, and the deputy Treasurer shall receive
as compensation effective July 1, 1966, an annual salary of Thirty-
eight Hundred Dollars ($3,800.00), payable in equal monthly install-
ments. The County Commissioners may supplement the salary of
the Treasurer by an amount not to exceed two thousand dollars
($2,000.00).

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

(House Bill 991)

AN ACT to add new Section 112 (5A) to Article 21 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume and 1968 Supple-
ment), title "Conveyancing," subtitle "Land Installment Con-
tracts," to follow immediately after Section 112(5) thereof, re-
quiring land installment contracts to contain a notice warning the
buyer that in event of default he is liable to a default judgment
and providing certain requirements for this notice.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 112(5A) be and it is hereby added to Article 21
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume and
1968 Supplement), title "Conveyancing," subtitle "Land Install-
ment Contracts," to follow immediately after Section 112(5) thereof,
and to read as follows:

112.

(5A) Every land installment contract shall contain the follow-
ing notice in 12-point bold type or larger, typewriting or in legible
handwriting, directly below the space reserved in the contract for
the signature of the buyer acknowledging the receipt of a copy of
the contract: In the event of default, the purchaser may be liable
to a default judgment.
