1756                            JOINT RESOLUTIONS

No. 27
(House Joint Resolution 20)

House Joint Resolution requesting the inclusion on the 1970 official
Maryland highway map of every public and private commercially
operated airport in the State.

Whereas, The location of airport facilities within the State
is of present and future vital interest to the people of Maryland and
other states; and

Whereas, Municipal and privately operated facilities of various
types exist and it is to the air user's safety and convenience to have
knowledge of them; now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the State
Roads Commission of Maryland and the Maryland Department of
Economic Development are requested to cooperate in the matter of
including on the official 1970 Maryland highway map, with a suitable
legend, the location and capacity of all commercially operated
airports and related air facilities within the State, publicly or pri-
vately owned; and be it further

Resolved, That copies of this resolution be sent to the Governor
of Maryland, the Chairman of the State Roads Commission of
Maryland, the Director of the Maryland Department of Economic
Development, and the Chairman of the Baltimore City Airport
Board.

(House Joint Resolution 26)

House Joint Resolution requesting the Department of Game and
Inland Fish DEPARTMENTS OF GAME AND INLAND FISH
AND FORESTS AND PARKS to institute a summer job program
for youths.

Whereas, the conservation and control of wild life OF NATURAL
RESOURCES is becoming an increasingly important function of the
State; and

Whereas, there is a need for qualified experts in this field, and

Whereas, many high school and college age youths would benefit
from working in the field of wild life conservation and many would
pursue the interest they would develop doing such work and fill the
future need for wildlife QUALIFIED CONSERVATION experts;
and

Whereas, summer job programs have proven successful in many
State departments; now, therefore, be it
