the ffourth year of the Reigne of Our Sovereigne Lady Anne by
and Queen defender of the faith &ca Anno Domi 1705/6 Betweene
Province of Maryland Gent and Peter Massey of the Said County of
Bennett of Talbot County in ye af:sd Province Esqr of the other Part
bearing Date ye Twelfth Day of June Anno Domi 1705 Did there by
rding to Law unto him the said Richard Bennet and his heires or assignes
Acres of Land part of a Tract or parcell of Land Called Partnershipp
purchase by Daniell Toaes father of the said John Toaes and Sarah
John Toaes had formerly sold and made over most part of the said
about 500 acres as the proper right of them the said John Toaes
fullfilled and performed; and the said John Toaes accordingly haveing
the true and Lawfull Attorney for him and in his name place &
The said William Comegys accordingly undertakes as attorney
Bennett to make over and Convey so much of the said Tract or
the said John Toaes as also to make over and Convey other of the
Lyeing in Kent County aforesaid in Lieu of the remainder of that
Bennett and which the said John Toaes had before that made over
in the following deed, to pass and convey unto the said Richard
mentioned in manner following This Indenture therefore
said John Toaes) & Peter Massey & Sarah his wife for and in
of good sound Merchantable Tobacco and Cask to them the said
paid by the said Richard Bennett before the Ensealing & delivery
and Sarah his wife, do hereby acknowledge and confess and
and thereof and of all and every part and parcell thereof do release
his Heires Executors and Admrs and every of them for ever by these
offed released and confirmed, and by these Presents do for themselves
sell alien Release Enfeoffe and confirme unto him the said
Three Severall parcells of Land hereafter mentioned and expressed
land formerly Purchast and possest by Daniell Toaes father of
death of the said Daniell Toaes are the proper right and
vizt all the remainder of the aforesaid Tract or parcell of Land called
sold or Mortgaged by the said John Toaes nor Sarah Massey being in
Lands which the said William Comegyes has agreed to make over in
said Richard Bennet and which the said John Toaes had before
called Goose haven in quantity ffive Hundred Acres of Land formerly
of Talbot County Lyeing and being on the north side Chester River
or parcell of Land called London Bridge Lyeing and being at the
att the head of Chester River att the Lower fford or Riding over
Land called Hembery and Running from the said Oak south east
Perches then south west 260 Perches to the Beginning Tree Quantity
with all and singular the Plantations Houses Outhouses Buildings
Pastures Meadows ffeedings Cultivated and Improved Grounds
and all and singular other the Rights Members Benefitts Priviledges
Tracts and parcells of Land (conteining One Thousand Six Hundred
And premises belonging or in any manner of wayes or means thereunto
& reversions remainder & remainders of them and Every of them
Claime and Demand whatsoever of them the said John Toaes
and Every of them of all and singular the Estate herein & hereby
the appurtenances unto him the said Richard Bennet his heires
