This Indenture made the ffifteenth Day of ffebruary
Grace of God of England Scotland ffrance and ireland Queen De
[illegible] Betweeene John Dowdall of Cecill County in the Province
Hill of Kent County in ye Province Gent of ye other parte Wittnesseth
ye said Judith his Wife testified by her being made party to these prsents
[illegible] & for and in Consideration of the sume of ninety Pounds Sterling
Delivery hereof The receipt whereof the said John Dowdall doth
doth hereby clearely aquitt Exonerate and discharge ye sd Robert Hill
Bargained sold aliened and Confirmed and by these prsents doth grant
assignes all that Tract or parcell of Land Called and knowne by ye Name
Chester river in the Province abovesd and on the north side of a small
standing near the side of ye sd branch and running north and by west
Two Hundred Perches and from ye end of ye east by north Line south by
Branch and wth yeBranch to ye aforesaid marked oake Containing
wth all woods underwoods Trees Timber trees Wayes emoluments & advan
appertaineing To have and to hold ye above bargained or hereby Intended
Writeings or Escripts touching or concerning ye same prmises and every
and their owne proper Inheritance to his and their owne proper use
discharged of and from all & all manner of former or other Gifts Grants
Incumbrances whatsoever had made comitted or suffered to be had ??
or psons Claimeing by from or under him them or any of them or by
henceforth becomeing due & payable to ye Chiefe Lord or Lords of ye ??
sd John Dowdall for himselfe his Heires Execrs & admr doth Covenant
that he ye sd John Dowdall at ye time of ye Ensealeing of these prsents
premises wth all & singular their appurtenances unto ye said Robert Hill
Heires and assignes shall from henceforth be & stand seized of ag??
Peaceably and quietly have hold and Enjoye ye said bargained prmises
any right or Title to ye same and further ye sd John Dowdall
his Heires and assignes yt he ye sd John Dowdall his Heires Exrs
appurtenances and Every part thereof agt all manner of prsons pr??
& assignes shall & will warrant & for ever defend by these prsents
for his Heires Exrs & admrs covent & grant to & wth ye sd Robert Hill
Every & singular pson & psons Claimeing or wch shall or may
him her or them or any of them shall and will from time to time
in ye Law of him ye sd Robert Hill his Heires or assignes make
all & every other & further Act or Acts Deed or deeds Conveyance
Conveying all & singular ye above bargained prmise wth all & singular
as by ye sd Robert Hill his Heires or assignes or his their or
advised or required Lawfully & reasonably In Wittness whereof
hands & seales ye Day & year ffirst above written
Sealed & Delivered in ye prsence of us
