Recd January the Twenty Second Day 1703/4 of Thomas Tolley In full of all my Estate Left by my ffather Walter Tolley I say Recd by me Elizabeth Tolley p Lumley --------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------- March 17th 1702 Recd of Jno Hodges the full Ball of all accots to this Day and Due to Jno Hodges One Hundred Eighty Three pds Tobacco from Elias King p Lumley --------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------- May 16 1706 / Then came John King & desired his marke of Cattle & hoggs might be recorded which is as followeth vidzt an over Keele a hole a bitt of & a slitt in each Eare p Lumley --------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------- sends Greeting: Know you that I Robert Devonish of the Province gained and Sold, and by these Presents do Grant Bargaine and Sell to his Heires and assignes for ever; all that parcell of Ground the county abovesaid Commonly Called and knowne by the name now in the occupation of the abovesaid Thomas Cooke: and also all property Claime benefitt and Demand whatsoever of in and to the ground and all and all other the premises before hereby mentioned and the said Thomas Cooke in Consideration thereof hath oblieged just sum of Seven Thousand Pounds of Tobacco whereof the said the said Robt Devonish for my selfe my Heires Executors and ad- the said Tho Cooke his Heires Executors administrators and Heires and assignes shall and may from time to time and at all have hold and occupy posess and Enjoye all the Piece and parcell and sold and receive the rents Issues and Profitts thereof to his Interuption whatsoever of or by me the said Robt my Heires Persons whatsoever Lawfully Claimeing or to Claime by from or ment: In Wittness whereof I the said Robt Devonish do set my hand
