By Mr. Allen: Senate Bill No. 149, entitled "An Act to re-
peal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 31-A of Article
56 of Bagby's Annotated Code of the Public General Laws of
. Maryland, as legalized by Chapter 16 of the Acts of 1914,
title 'Licenses, ' sub-title 'Hawkers and Peddlers. '" [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Judicial Proceedings. ]

By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 150, entitled "An Act to
authorize and direct the State Roads Commission to construct
an improved road from the southern terminus of the present
improved road leading from Easton to Trappe, and known as
the Old Trappe road (and being the original road from Easton,
to Cambridge Ferry), to a junction with the road leading from
the town of Trappe to Barber, now being constructed under
the Shoemaker Act. " [Which was read the first time and
referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 151, entitled "An Act to
authorize the State Roads Commission to build and construct
a section of improved road on the road leading from Easton
to Miles River Ferry, known as the Miles River road, begin-
ning at the west side of Washington street in the town of
Easton and running to the eastern end of a piece of State-aid
road constructed under the Shoemaker Act, and known as the
Bay Side road, a distance of about two and one-half miles. "
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Finance. ]

By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 152, entitled "An Act to
repeal Sections 117-J, 117-K and 117-L of Article 21 of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Talbot County, ' sub-title
'Justices of the Peace and Constables, ' and to re-enact the
same with amendments. " [Which was read the first time and
referred to Senators Collier, Leg g and Shepherd. ]

By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 153, entitled "An Act to
authorize and direct the State Roads Commission to build
and construct a section of improved road, to extend from
the southern terminus of the present improved extension of
Harrison street, at the fair grounds gate, of the State aid
road on Harrison street, along the road known as the Lamlaff
road until it connects with a section of the road improved
under the Shoemaker Act on the north side of and near the
Peach Blossom Bridge in Talbot county. " [Which was read
the first time and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]
