repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 46 of Article
26 of Bagby's Annotated Code of Public Civil Laws of Mary-
land of 1911, title 'Courts, ' sub-title Tension of Judges, ' so as
to read as follows. " [Which was read the first time and re-
ferred to the Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Joy: Senate Bill No. 144, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact, with amendments, ' Section 36 of Article 5 of
Code of Public Local Laws as amended by Chapter 46 of the
Acts of 1914, entitled 'Calvert County, ' sub-title 'Birds and
Game. '-" [Which was read the first time and referred to
Senators Joy, Holmead and Chesley. ]

By Mr. Frick: Senate Bill No. 145, entitled "An Act to add
a new section to Article 33-A of Bagby's Code, title 'Eminent
Domain, ' to follow Section 7 and to be known as 7-A. " [Which

was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Judicial Proceedings. ]

' By Mr. Frick: Senate Bill No. 146, entitled 'An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 19 of Article
95 of the Annotated Code of the Public Civil Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Treasurer, ' for the purpose of authorizing the

State Treasurer to accept collateral security on the bond of
the agent of the said State Treasurer. " "[Which was read the
first time and referred to the Committee on Finance. ],

By Mr. Duvall: Senate Bill No. 147, entitled "An Act to re-
peal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 214 and 214-A
of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Anne-
Arundel County, ' sub-title 'Sheriff, ' as the same were enacted
by Chapter 551 of the Acts of 1902, and amended by Chapter
23 of the Acts of 1912, and add a new section thereto to come
in after Section 214-A, and to be designated as 214~Aa, direct-
ing the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel county to
submit quarterly to the County Commissioners a statement
of cases where Sheriff's fees have been charged or collected;
and also to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
214-B, as enacted by Chapter 551 of the Acts of 1902. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Finance. ]

By the President: Senate Bill No. 148, entitled "An Act to
amend Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'City
of Baltimore, ' sub title 'Courts, ' by adding thereunto two new
sections relating to the appointment of probation officers for
