repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 19 of Article
95 of the Annotated Code of the Public Civil Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Treasurer, ' for the purpose of authorizing the
State Treasurer to accept collateral security on the bond of
the agent of the said State Treasurer. " "[Which was read the

By Mr. Duvall: Senate Bill No. 147, entitled "An Act to re-
peal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 214 and 214-A
of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Anne-
Arundel County, ' sub-title 'Sheriff, ' as the same were enacted
by Chapter 551 of the Acts of 1902, and amended by Chapter
23 of the Acts of 1912, and add a new section thereto to come
in after Section 214-A, and to be designated as 214~Aa, direct-
ing the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel county to
submit quarterly to the County Commissioners a statement
of cases where Sheriff's fees have been charged or collected;
and also to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
214-B, as enacted by Chapter 551 of the Acts of 1902. " [Which
