fiscal year ending on the [30th] 31st day of the preceding [April]
December. Said County Road Engineer shall not be interested in any
firm or corporation from which anything shall be purchased for the
use of said roads and bridges or receive any commission on said
purchase.

465. That the County Road Engineer of Dorchester County shall,
[on or before the first day of June, 1912, and] on or before the first
day of April in each year [thereafter], make up a schedule of the
public roads and bridges to be worked, repaired or rebuilt during that
year, and the extent of the work and repairs to be done thereon, and
present the same to the County Commissioners for their approval or
rejection, in whole or in part, and the said Commissioners may from
time to time add to said schedule any road, roads and bridges not
included in said engineer's report that are to be worked, repaired or
rebuilt during the year in their respective commissioner districts;
the total amount of such schedule not to exceed seventy-five per cent,
of the amount levied for such purposes, the remainder of twenty-five
per cent, of the said road levy to be kept in reserve for use in making
temporary repairs to any and all other roads and bridges in said
county as the safety and convenience of public travel may require.
And provided further, that nothing in this [act] sub-title shall be
taken or construed to interfere with or relate to any contract work of
any of the roads or bridges in said county now or hereafter to be
entered into by said Commissioners.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 79
(Senate Bill 57)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 457-464 inclusive, 468, 469 and 470 of
Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Dorchester County", sub-title "Railroads", repeal-
ing certain local laws of Dorchester County on the general subject
of the maintenance and building of roads and relating generally
to roads in said County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 457-464 inclusive, 468, 469 and 470 of Article 10 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dor-
chester County", sub-title "Railroads", be and they are hereby
repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

Approved February 27, 1961.
