LAND (1957 EDITION), AND, TO THE EXTENT NEEDED FOR
THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 1 ABOVE, SUCH FUNDS SHALL
NOT BE HELD IN THE MOTOR VEHICLE REVENUE FUND.

Sec. 3. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(Senate Bill 206)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 59 of
Article 17 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Clerks of Circuit Courts and Superior Court of Baltimore
City", sub-title "Plats of sub-divisions—Recording generally", pro-
viding for the filing for record and recording of plats incident to
the sub-division of land in the State of Maryland. WORCESTER
COUNTY.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 59 of Article 17 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Clerks of Circuit Courts and Superior Court
of Baltimore City", sub-title "Plats of sub-divisions—Recording gen-
erally", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

59. (a) Whenever the owner or owners of land in the State of
Maryland shall sub-divide their lands, for town or villa sites, streets,
avenues, lanes or alleys and lots, and shall desire, for the purpose
of description and identification, a plat of said sub-division to be
made to be recorded among the land records of the county or city
in which the land is situate, the clerk of the circuit court of the
county or city, is hereby directed to receive and record the same
as hereinafter directed, but the said clerk shall not receive for record,
nor allow to be recorded in his office, any such plat, until the re-
quirements hereinafter prescribed shall have been complied with.

(b)  If IN WORCESTER COUNTY IF there is in existence an
unrecorded plat or plats showing a sub-division, from which a lot or
lots have been conveyed, and the owner or owners of the sub-division
or any part thereof propose to re-subdivide the same in a manner
different from the unrecorded plat or plats, there shall be recorded, as
provided herein and in addition to any other plats required by this
section, a copy of said unrecorded plat or plats. If there are no unre-
corded plats in existence, the owner or owners shall record an affi-
davit to this fact.

(c)  If IN WORCESTER COUNTY IF there is in existence a
recorded plat or plats showing a sub-division, and the owner or
