ing the same parcel of ground which, by in-
denture dated on the tenth day of August,
eighteen hundred and thirty-one, and recorded
among the land records of Baltimore county,
in Liber W. G., No. 214, folio 225, &c., was
conveyed by Henry Peters to "the Third Pres-
byterian Church of the City of Baltimore," and
that notice has been given in a newspaper in
the City of Baltimore of the objects and pur-
poses of said bill; and it being doubtful
whether there is jurisdiction in the said Court
to pass a decree for the sale of said lot of
ground; Therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the notice heretofore given
of the objects and purposes of said bill be suffi-
cient to bind all persons claiming an interest as
lot holders or otherwise in said lot of ground;
and whether they be entitled as heir, assignee or
other representatives of the original lot holders
or otherwise in said lot; and whether they be
non-residents, infants or lunatics; and that the
said Circuit Court for Baltimore City is hereby
invested with complete jurisdiction without fur-
ther notice, upon being satisfied by affidavits or
otherwise, that it would be for the interest and
advantage of all parties interested in said lot of
ground, that the same should be sold immediately,
to pass a decree for the sale of the same, upon
such terms as shall be proper; and to distribute
the proceeds of said sale among the parties inter-
ested, equitably, according their several interests,
as the same shall bo shewn to the said court.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any decree
passed by the said court, for the sale of the said
lot of ground, shall be valid to pass the title to
the purchaser or purchasers of the same or any
part thereof, free, clear and discharged from the
said "Third Presbyterian Church" of the City
of Baltimore, its successors or any person or per-
sons claiming under them; and free, clear and
discharged from the claim of all that arc, or have
been lot holders in the said lot of ground, their
heirs or assigns, and all persons claiming under
them.
