AN ACT to authorise . the Peach Bottom Slate
Mining Company, of Harford County, Mary-
land, to issue bonds.

Authorised to
issue bond.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Peach Bottom Slate
Mining Company of Harford County, Maryland,
he and is hereby authorized to issue bonds of said
Company to the amount of one hundred thousand
dollars, in bonds of not less than five hundred
dollars, with or without coupons, as the said Com-
pany may determine, and that the said bonds may
be made payable to bearer, and transferable by
delivery.

Real estate to
be conveyed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Com-
pany is authorized and required to convey by
deed all the real estate of said Company lying in
Harford county to a trustee, who shall be a resi-
dent in said county, in trust to secure the payment
of any bonds which may be issued in pursuance
of this act.

To be num-
bered.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said Com-
pany shall number in a regular series, beginning
with No. one, all the bonds it may issue, which
numbers shall bo specified in the deed of trust.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
