CHAPTER 289.
|
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to repeal a part of the fifteenth section
of the act of eighteen hundred and fifty-two,
chapter three hundred and four, entitled an act
to incorporate the Baltimore, Carroll and Fred-
erick Railroad Company.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That so much of the fifteenth sec-
tion of the act passed at December session, eigh-
teen hundred and fifty-two, chapter three hundred
and four, as provides, that in determining the
amount of compensation for property condemned
for the use of the Company incorporated by said
act, to be allowed to the owners thereof, the jury
shall not make an allowance or deduction, on ac-
count of any real or supposed benefits which the
parties in interest may derive, from the construc-
tion of the rail road authorised by said act to be
made, be and the same is hereby repealed.

Repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to provide for the re-copying, re-bind-
ing, re-indexing and completing some of the
records in the office of the clerk of the Supe-
rior court of Baltimore city.
|

WHEREAS, a committee appointed by the House of
Delegates, to examine the condition of the re-
cords in the office of the clerk of the Superior
court of Baltimore city, have reported that some
of the records require re-copying, re-binding
and re-indexing, and that some of the records
have not been kept up by the late clerk;
