' AN ACT to refund to Nicholas H. Green, of
Anne Arundel county, certain moneys impro-
perly paid by him into the Treasury, as clerk
of the Anne Arundel County Court.

thorised to pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer is hereby
authorised and directed to pay, on the warrant of
the Comptroller, the sum of two hundred and ten
dollars and forty-two cents to Nicholas H. Green,
late clerk of Anne Arundel county; said sum of
money having been paid by the said Green, into
the Treasury improperly, as tax on his office.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT to regulate the compensation of Jurors
in Prince George's county.
|
|
|
|
Compensation.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That from and after the pas-
sage of this act, the Jurors summoned to any
term of the Circuit Court for Prince George's
county, shall receive a per diem of two dollars
for each day's actual attendance at such term, to-
gether with mileage, as now allowed by law to
Jurors in said county, in lieu of the present com-
pensation allowed by law; and the per diem and
compensation allowed by this act, shall be levied
and paid in the same manner in all respects, as
the present compensation of Jurors in said county
is levied and paid.
