authorised.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the clerk of the Superior
court of Baltimore city, be and he is hereby au-
thorised and directed to have re-copied, re-bound
and re-indexed, such of the records in his office,
as in his opinion require it, and to have completed
any records which the late clerk may have failed
to complete, and that a sum necessary to pay for
the work hereby required to be done, not exceed-
ing the sum of five thousand dollars, shall be
levied on the assessable property of Baltimore city,
to be collected as other city charges are collected,
and shall be paid to the clerk of the Superior court
of Baltimore city, to be by him expended in car-
rying out the provisions of this act; Provided,
that the above amount shall be deemed necessary
by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, to
carry out the same.

SBC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

AN ACT to enable John Beall and George A.
Pearre, trustees of the Mineral Bank of Mary-
land, to wind up and close their trust as expe-
ditiously as may be, and to protect them in so
doing.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Circuit Court for Alle-
gany county, as a court of equity, be and it is
hereby authorised and empowered, upon the ap-
plication of John Beall and George A. Pearre,
trustees of the Mineral Bank of Maryland, to
limit and fix a time within which the creditors of
said bank shall file in said court the notes of said
bank, and other claims of said creditors against
said bank, and the said court shall direct such
notice of the time so fixed by said court for filing
as aforesaid, as to the said court may seem right
