tions and organizations as said Baltimore Annual
Conference and said East Baltimore Conference
shall select, prescribe and ordain, and to that end
the said two Conferences shall be authorised to
appoint managers or trustees in manner aforesaid,
in place of the trustees constituting said corpora-
tion, who shall to every effect be deemed and have
as full power and privilege, and be subject to the
same rules and regulations as the corporation
aforesaid.

In force.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of passage.


CHAPTER 14.

Passed Febru-
ary 11, 1858.

AN ACT to make valid a Deed of Mortgage from
Robert H. Rouse and wife, of Kent county, to
James Parker Selby, bearing date the twelfth
day of December, in the year eighteen hundred
and fifty-five, and recorded among the land
records of Kent county.

Made valid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That a Deed of Mortgage from
Robert H. Rouse and Ann Rebecca Rouse, his
wife, of Kent county, Maryland, to James Parker
Selby, of York county, State of Virginia, bearing
date the twelfth day of December, in the year
eighteen hundred and fifty-five, and recorded in
liber J. F. G. No. 4, pages 509, 510 and 511, one
of the land records books for Kent county, be and
the same is hereby declared to be as valid and
effectual in law and equity, as if the same had
been recorded among the said laud records of
Kent county, within six months from the date of
said Deed of Mortgage; Provided, that nothing
in this act shall be construed to affect subsequent
Mortgage, if any, judgment creditors, or bona
fide purchasers without notice.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this act
shall take effect from its passage.
