said trustees, at the instance and upon applica-
tion of the said Baltimore Annual Conference or
of said East Baltimore Conference, or any mem-
ber or members thereof, delegated by said Con-
ference, or either of them, by bill, petition or oth-
erwise, may be required to answer individually
and personally, and to account of and concern-
ing the funds aforesaid, and of the interest and
incomes proceeding therefrom, to the court of
chancery or any court of equity of this State;
and shall be liable to all such orders and decrees
in respect of said fund and the administration
thereof, as individual trustees are subject to by the
rides and the course of courts of equity, and upon
any abuse or incapacity appearing upon any of
the proceedings as aforesaid, on the part of any
such trustees, said court may remove any such
trustee or trustees, and appoint in his or their
place, such person or persons as in that behalf
shall be recommended to said court by said Confer-
ences respectively; and on a bill or petition as
aforesaid, the said court shall have full power to
direct and carry into effect and enforce according
to the rules and course of chancery proceedings
the application of said fund, or of the interest or
income thereof, according to the provisions and
declarations of this act, in respect of the appro-
priation of the same.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the seventh sec-
tion of the act to which this is a supplement, shall
he amended so as to read as follows: And be it
enacted, That whenever the said institution of
Dickinson College shall be dissolved, or its oper-
ation in its collegiate department shall cease or
intermit, or the trustees of said college shall at
any election, or in supplying any vacancy in the
board of trustees, so proceed that a majority of
the whole number of said trustees shall not be
members of the Methodist Episcopal Church,
then the said corporation shall cease to pay over
to the said trustees (unless thereto specially au-
thorised by said Conferences) the interest and in-
come aforesaid, and then and thereupon the said
corporation shall, and to that effect, it is hereby
required, to pay over and appropriate said fund,
whether principal or interest, or both, for such
purposes of education, and under rules, regula-
