LAWS OF MARYLAND.

veyance of all the right, title, interest and estate of the
said Sarah Elizabeth Bowen of, in, to and out of the
said part of a tract or parcel of land in the preamble
of this act referred to and mentioned, and which said
deed when so made and executed, shall in all respects
be as valid and operative in law, as if the said Sarah
Elizabeth Bowen had attained to the full age of
twenty one years.

Title shall
vest.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all the right, title,
interest and estate of the said Sarah Elizabeth Bowen,
of, in, to and out of the said part of a tract or parcel
of land and premises hereinbefore referred to, shall by
the said deed of conveyance, so to be executed and
acknowledged by the said Sarah Elizabeth Bowen,
be vested in the said William Denny, his heirs and
assigns forever.

In force.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 251.

AN ACT to require the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Frederick county to make and prepare a gen-
eral index to the land records of Frederick coun-
ty, and to transcribe two of the equity dockets
of said county.

Complete in-
dex to be made
out.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Frederick county be and he is hereby re-
quired to make a full and complete general alphabet-
ical index, in a book or books well bound for that
purpose, of all deeds, mortgages, bills of sale, and
other conveyances of record in his office, which were
recorded prior to the fourth day of November, eigh-
teen hundred and thirty-five, which index shall be
both in the name of each and all the grantors, bar-
gainers, donors, or mortgagors, and each and all
the grantees, bargainees, donees, or mortgagees,
and shall refer to the book and page of the record
of the several conveyances designating the same.
