Made valid.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the acknowledgment of the afore-
said deed from the Llangollen Mining Company, to
the said John Crawford, be and the same is hereby
ratified and made as valid in law, to all intents and
purposes, as if the said deed contained a power of at-
torney from the said Llangollen Mining Company, au-
thorising and empowering the said Clement March to
make said acknowledgment, and as if said acknowl-
edgment were made in conformity to all and every of
the laws of this State regulating the acknowledg-
ment of deeds by corporate bodies.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the title of said
John Crawford, under and by virtue of said deed, is
made as valid in law as if said deed and acknowl-
edgment were made and executed in accordance with

the laws of this State; Provided, however, that no-
thing in this act contained shall affect the rights of
bona fide purchasers or creditors without notice, who
may have become so before the passage of this act.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT entitled an act to order the Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Cecil county to record a deed.
|

Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, John Rumsey, of Harford county, and
State of Maryland, by deed of indenture, dated
September twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and
nineteen, did, for a valuable consideration, convey
unto Henrietta Rumsey and Mary Rumsey, all the
real estate of which he was seized and possessed,
lying in Harford county, or elsewhere; and where-
as, the greater part of said estate was in Harford
county, but there was also a tract of land called
"Antego,', of which said Rumsey was seized and
possessed, lying in Cecil county, Maryland; and
said deed having been duly recorded in Harford
county court, in liber H. D., No. 4, folio 67, one
of the land record books of said county, but ne-
