25A. IF IN ANY YEAR ANY LICENSEE UNDER THE PRO-
VISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE SHALL not be able to conduct the full

CHAPTER 35
(House Bill 44)

Inc., during the year 1955, said additional day to be in lieu of one
day on which inclement weather prevented racing during the year
1954.

WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 17 of Article 78B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition) the Maryland Racing Commission
is authorized to award not more than twenty days of racing at any
one track where trotting and pacing meetings are held; and

WHEREAS, During the year 1954 Baltimore Trotting Races, Inc.,
operating the Baltimore Raceway, was unable to complete its full
twenty days of racing by reason of inclement weather conditions; and

WHEREAS, It is only equitable that the track should be authorized
to hold an additional day of racing during the year 1955 in order to
make up for the one day lost by reason of inclement weather condi-
